I feel fortunate to have worked and volunteered in support and counselling roles for many years, with adults and with children. It is so rewarding to see people achieve their hopes and find their way in life. This motivates and inspires me every day.
I had been interested in hypnotherapy for a long time, having seen the great results my friends had achieved from it. I started to research it and became more and more interested in developing my skills and becoming a hypnotherapist myself.
In 2023 I found a great training provider that taught me not only how to be a hypnotherapist, but how the brain works and why a solution focused approach is so powerful.
My journey as a hypnotherapist so far has been inspiring, fulfilling and exciting. And the best part is helping people get the very best out of themselves.
I have 20 years experience of working in counselling charities, working directly with both adults and children as well as training others to do the same. I have qualifications in counselling skills and in mental health.
As a hypnotherapist I hold a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and a Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma. These qualifications demonstrate my commitment to providing the best service I can. In addition I regularly take part in opportunities to keep my knowledge and skills fresh and up-to-date,
I am registered with the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists and the National Council for Hypnotherapy. Registration with these organisations enures I meet professional standards, so you can be confident in the service I provide.
